In de ochtend van 12 oktober 2020 heeft de monnikengemeenschap van Abdij Maria Toevlucht (bisdom Breda, Nederland) Dom Guido Van Belle als nieuwe Abt gekozen voor een termijn van zes jaar.<\/p>\n

Dom Guido werd in 1959 geboren te Ninove (Belgi\u00eb). Hij trad in te Zundert in 1995, legde zijn solemnele professie af en 2001 en werd in 2005 priester gewijd. Op het ogenblik van zijn verkiezing, was hij sinds 2017 Superior ad Nutum van de Gemeenschap van Zundert.<\/p>\n
